Book Wins Gold!
So, You Love an Alcoholic?: Lessons for a Codependent
Book Wins a Gold Non-Fiction Book Award!
Awarded by Nonfiction Authors Association
2020
From the author Grace W. Wroldson,
“I am so honored and proud to receive a Gold Award for a Non-Fiction Book from the Nonfiction Authors Association for the category of “Personal Triumph!” I certainly didn’t intend to ever write a book nor think that my pain or story would win anything. I was only working hard to win my freedom from codependency and loving an alcoholic. Thank you for this recognition!
I would just like to mention that it took me seven years to write my book as it started as a journal (to myself) after I left the alcoholic while I desperately tried to make sense of my love story gone wrong. It was a long and challenging process as it went through three major edits because I wanted to ensure that the book contained only the wisdom necessary for healing and enlightenment. I hope that my powerful, personal insights and lessons are valuable to another woman struggling with these issues and provide validation, comfort, and hope. It was indeed a “personal triumph” as I now live happy and free of an alcoholic-codependent relationship. I have since gone on to write four other follow-up books (also available on Amazon). The heart of my mission has been to save children from toxic alcoholic-codependent homes.”
